Philippa Manley is the Deputy Director of Projects & Digital Services with particular responsibility for delivering and optimising HMPO’s Digital Services through projects, suppliers and building internal capability. Philippa led the successful delivery of the digital passport application service (DCS), including digital photos and online authentication, digital application processing (DAP) through automated checks and a new, paperless, case working system, and the creation of a sustainable digital services function to enable product-centricity within the overall passport service. Philippa holds the role of LGBT+ Champion for the Home Office Customer Services capability, which involves promoting diversity and inclusion within the business and sharing best practices with peers across the Home Office. Prior to her current role, Philippa led a portfolio of projects covering procurements, business change, and joint working across government, and before that worked in various operational roles within HMPO.
