Xiaopu Fung

Director, Product and Service Delivery

Xiaopu (pronounced “shao-poo”) is a public-sector service design and delivery leader who cares deeply about diversity and inclusion. She currently leads the delivery of the new Service Canada digital centre and directly oversees the design and development of digital services while enabling agile, human-centred design practices in the Canadian federal government.

Previously, she ran an innovation lab for the Ontario provincial government to introduce ministries to the value of user research and rapid prototyping for validating assumptions and making better-informed decisions.

Before joining the public service, Xiaopu worked in marketing, technical, and design roles in the private, not-for-profit, and education sectors. She holds a math degree from the University of Waterloo and a business administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
